• Nomination papers for one Selectman, Assessor & Overseer of the Poor, for a three year term shall be available at the town office on March 8th, 2021. The filing deadline is 4:00PM on Friday, April 16th, 2021. 

• THE TOWN OF SOUTH THOMASTON AND THE SELECT BOARD ARE LOOKING FOR INTERESTED RESIDENTS FOR AN AD HOC TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE TO RESEARCH, REVIEW, AND OFFER RECOMMENDATIONS ON INTERNET AND BROADBAND/FIBER OPTIONS FOR THE TOWN.  WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN BECOMING BUDGET COMMITTEE MEMBERS OR ALTERNATE PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS.  FOR MORE INFORMATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY OF THESE OPENINGS, OR TO INQUIRE ABOUT OTHER WAYS TO HELP OUT, PLEASE CONTACT THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR OR SELECT BOARD.
