Tennis Court Open For Play
One of the two tennis courts located behind the town office is now open for play. With volunteer labor the crack in the far court has been temporarily patched and the net has been installed. It’s not perfect, but it’s safe and playable.
As previously announced a pickle ball court has been laid out on the tennis court and a portable net is on site for use by the public. At this point the net is not locked up as its storage bin was unfortunately vandalized, but thankfully the net was not damaged. The cracks in the basketball court have been patched and it too is open for play.
Thanks to all the volunteers who made this happen. The town still awaits word regarding its grant application which will enable more professional and extensive repairs.

Obsolete and Derelict Fishing Gear

The hope is that fisherman will take advantage of the program to dispose of old gear. If you have any questions, please call the Town Office at 596-6584.
