The Owls Head, South Thomaston & Thomaston Solid Waste Corporation is a Nonprofit Corporation formed in 2007. Their mission is to process all municipal solid waste and recyclables for the three member municipalities. They operate under an Interlocal Agreement approved by the citizens of the three member municipalities. Each municipality has two members on the Solid Waste Board of Directors. South Thomaston’s Board members are Jeff Northgraves and Gordon “Skip” Connell.
